Skills to Wealth (An alternative to irregular migration) II

The Second edition of the Skills to Wealth program which was born out of the impact of the maiden edition was taken a step further from using skills to ensure wealth creation, and focusing on reintegration measures for those who had already been victims of trafficking and irregular migration. Key stakeholders involved with migration including representatives of the Edo state Taskforce Against Human Trafficking (ETAHT), the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Ministry of Social Development and Gender, Immigration, Ministry of Wealth Creation, Corperatives and Employment, Edo State Skills Development Agency (EdoJobs) International Organisation for Migration, Girls Power Initiative, Market Developmentin the Niger Delta, Oakland Best Limited, amongst others were present at the programme to properly enlighten the audience, which comprised returned irregular migrants, other vulnerable groups and the general public. This event was hosted in partnership with the Market Development Program in the Niger Delta (MADE II), a DFID-funded project, at Idia College, Benin City on the 20th September2018.
