The Genius Hub demand-based skill acquisition training teaches beneficiaries basic developmental, entrepreneurial and life skills which are relevant tools in helping them create wealth.
This training took place at the Etsako-West Local Government Council hall between the 17th and 23rd March 2018, and had a daily average of a hundred beneficiaries, who were trained in bleach, soap, powder, and perfume production. In attendance also were the representatives of the Edo State Skills Development Agency (EdoJobs), the Chairman Etsako West Local Government, Chairman Etsako East Local Government, Chairman Etsako Central Local Government, and members of the Genius Hub team. Certificates were presented to the beneficiaries and forty starter packs were given to well deserving beneficiaries based on their participation and performance during the training sessions.
35% of our beneficiaries are involved with production and are in business, 35% produce for household consumption, saving them the cost of purchasing these products, and 5% of those producing have been engaged by Genius Hub as paid facilitators.
